Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers close spaces, increase length, create maximum whiteness, and straighten teeth so they are preferred by many of our patients. They are also very durable. Deep tetracycline stains can be removed from a smile with this procedure. Veneers can sometimes allow patients to appear as if they have had orthodontic treatment. In as short as two visits you can have a smile that beams confidence.

Smile Whitening

We have improved our in-office whitening methods. In about an hour your smile can be whitened with a whitening treatment called Zoom, from Discus Dental. First we apply a whitening gel to your teeth. After providing you with protective eyewear, a high-intensity laser-like lamp is positioned to spotlight your teeth. This is a system designed with your comfort and safety in mind. In about an hour we can whiten your teeth, giving you a bright, white smile. This is whitening that lasts.

Bonding

Bonding is one of the simplest procedures for our clients. Usually no tooth structure removal is required and in one visit you can have a wonderful new smile. But, understand that the knowledge involved in crafting a great, new smile with this material is extensive. Dr. Noesen’s and Dr. Smith’s smile artistry speaks to their expertise.
Bonding material fuses to your teeth and creates a strong and durable bond, almost like your natural enamel. Spaces in your smile can be eliminated and your teeth lengthened with this contouring material. It comes in many shades including a shade for those who want a super bright white smile. We use a laser-like light for more precise curing of the bonding material and to lessen the time you’re in the dental chair.

All Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns, also called ceramic crowns, are very attractive for two reasons. First, they provide a natural look for those who don’t want everyone to know they’ve had dental work. Second, they are so close in strength and durability to natural teeth that we expect metal crowns to become non-existent in the next few years.
All porcelain crowns are a natural-looking alternative to gold crowns and other metal-based crowns. They mimic natural teeth because of their maximum light translucency and color. You don’t have discoloration of your gum tissue or teeth. You have a strong, healthy smile for years to come.

Porcelain Inlays/Onlays

No longer do dark, metal, (silver) fillings have to cast dark shadows in your smile. Dr. Noesen and Dr. Smith create natural colored inlays and onlays which are strong, decay resistant and less traumatic to your teeth than traditional metal amalgam (silver) fillings.

Dr. Noesen and Dr. Smith can create healthier, whiter smiles with a very strong ceramic material. Conventional metal fillings can hide decay and weaken the natural tooth. Metal fillings are inserted (plugged) after the dentist grinds away part of the healthy tooth. Ceramic-type inlays and onlays are bonded to the tooth, or "fused", with minimal removal of healthy tooth. Over time, a crown may be needed if tooth-grinding removes too much of the natural tooth structure. Bonded inlays and onlays can save more of your natural tooth for many years to come.

Dental Implants

The benefits of dental implants are very encouraging to people who are missing teeth. Dental implants are more focused on opening up possibilities, instead of limiting you in the area of diet or functionality. Whether you are missing one, a few or all of your teeth, dental implants can dramatically change how you feel about your smile today and for the rest of your life.

Dentures many times weaken your jaw and cause the bone to recede. Dental implants keep your jaw strong and youthful looking. It’s like you have your natural smile back. Many patients who are missing some or all of their teeth are better served with implants rather than other forms of dentistry like full dentures, partials or fixed bridges. It’s your life. You should enjoy it.

Gum Tissue Contouring

Your gum tissue can make your teeth look short. Gum tissue can cover more of your smile than is necessary to protect it. Gum tissue contouring can solve these smile inconsistencies. Contouring can also fill gaps in your gum line, which cause your teeth to look too long. It is also performed during other more complex smile cases where dental implants and bridges are used, or when damage has occurred to the mouth because of an accident. Cosmetic and restorative dentistry has benefits that many patients have not realized. Today, we can help you find a solution that fits who you are.

All Porcelain Bridges

With the strong, naturally translucent materials that Dr. Noesen and Dr. Smith now use, you can have a healthy, long lasting, confident smile. Before all-porcelain bridges were available the only result was a dull or metallic smile. Before, porcelain-fused-to-gold, and other metal-based bridges didn’t have the reflective and translucent impact that these new, all porcelain bridges have. Find out how the new porcelain/ceramic dental materials have changed dentistry and can transform your smile.

"Instant-Orthodontics"

"Instant-Orthodontics" usually incorporates porcelain veneers–a very strong and natural looking faux-ceramic covering. A minimal amount of tooth structure is removed and then the veneers are bonded to your teeth. Not every smile can be straightened with porcelain veneers and you may have to seek orthodontic treatment. Dr. Noesen encourages you to schedule an appointment to see if you can benefit from this and other procedures.

Periodontal Therapy

Gum tissue health is very important to supporting and retaining your teeth from a life-long perspective. Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. Some people have this gum disease and do not realize it until tooth loss occurs.

Do your teeth bleed when you floss or brush? This can be a sign of early stage periodontal disease. Regular dental appointments to check for the disease and consistent home care are essential to keeping this disease in check.
