Intraoral Camera

IRIS USB 2.0 Digital Doc Intraoral Camera

The IRIS USB 2.0 Intraoral Camera is a precision optical instrument featuring an easy to use 5-point Focus Wheel and unique USB connector that fit standard delivery units.  The streamlined profile has a much smaller, specifically designed soft-tip with brilliant 8-point LED lighting and Sony’s Hi-Resolution CCD for the finest picture quality.

How is an intraoral camera used in dentistry?  An intraoral camera is a small video camera that takes a picture or video of the outside of the tooth or gum. While simultaneously viewing a monitor, the dentist inserts the camera into a patient’s mouth and gently shifts it about so that images can be taken from a variety of angles.  The intraoral camera is an extremely handy tool in both diagnosing dental conditions and in educating patients.
